I never realized just how lovely they were until I saw this......great pic Santa.

Thank you DD2 and Homebird. I really do like to see hoverflies, as they are clean and nothing like an ordinary fly. When I see a hoverfly hovering around me, I stick my finger out pointing at it, and sometimes they come to the finger ...... most interesting I must say, and very rewarding. Try it out next year DD2, it's fun :-)

No, honestly DD2, it's true. I put my finger near a hoverfly, as it hovers, and sometimes they hover over my finger. They are fascinating little creatures, and they are clean too, nothing like an ordinary fly ...... Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas :-)
