Calliandra tweedii - Trinidad Flame Bush, Brazilian Flame Bush

The leaves remind me of Mimosa pudica...

It's in the same family (Fabaceae/Leguminosae). This is a large shrub or small tree.

Extremely attractive plant all round I think!

Meanie:

This one is very easy to grow...it's hardy and very drought tolerant.

In my opinion this plant isn't as attractive as: Calliandra haematocephala, or C. surinamensis.
