Probably wont see the cardoon again, but it really has looked nice encircled by coleus and ptilotus. We've really been getting a mild winter so far, plenty of snow and even a rain (very messy). Might see it and many others come through if it stays like this.

Eek!!! Just say it isn't so! ;-) I'm just glad that for once there is plenty of snow to insulate things. We've had very little for years, so I"ll think of that through the cold spells.

My thoughts exactly GT....I've been out shoveling the snow onto my beds just to make sure they have enough. LOL
Last year I lost a lot because we had very little snow.

Can't wait for those snow shots. Mind you we have got our own this year. Not in Wiltshire, though. Well planted barrel.

Thank you TOG. The snow shots will come and sooner than later I think. I have gotten far enough behind on my photos, I don't even know how many are left.....lol.
Gilli, we just had an awful rain that turned the snow very hard and heavy to seal things in. Now -34C last night. What a change!

Brrrrr....-34C.....Not that cold here yet. The coldest night so far was -22C. I think that was last week. Since then it's warmed up a bit. Only -9C tonight.

Good to hear. I can't wait for another warm day. Been so spoiled this year, I'm not really liking the cold. January and February are looking more and more daunting every day!

I know exactly what you mean GT. I really think the bears have the right idea....It would be lovely to just sleep the winter away.

January and February are supposed to be very cold and very snowy this winter GT. Something to do with La Nina.
