Does this orchids grow well outside?

I've never tried growing them outside as there is very little shade around my house!!
I saw a white one with a purple center last night......beautiful.

Yes, it does need some shade. I know what you mean...as I get more damage to from the hot sun than any other weather condition here.

The only orchids which grows well in full sun here are the Epidendrum hybrids. The leaves turn a little reddish, but the the hybrids bloom all year.
