Get that lawn mower out Linda. Golly what a lot of snow. About the same amount as was here in Essex. The road looks reasonably clear. Our road was like a skating rink but it is thawing at the moment, so it all has shrunk a bit. No sun for days now. That does upset me.

We are lucky to be on a main road which has been kept clear. Today is bright and sunny and not so cold, but I think next week we are back to the white stuff!!

Well, it is Monday and the white stuff is coming down heavier than before. It has to improve on Thursday.
I have been taking photos for an email Christmas card.

We had a marvellous sunny 'blue sky day' here Sunday. Most of the snow had vanished overnight. Monday was freezing fog and -1degree below on the car thermometer back from the dentist at 1pm!!! More like the new ice age Linda.....not global warming. At least , on Sunday, GJ got a ride out to his favourite bacon sarnie place, and a photo of the Herts medical emergency helicopter, parked on the grass to do as a jig saw puzzle, on the computer.

It is sunny but cold here today. My niece who is a teacher in Glasgow, but lives in Edinburgh had to stay with us last night. All transport in the central belt came to a standstill. She is taking some kids to Italy skiing at the weekend, so time at home would have been handy for her, but she just can't make it back to Edinburgh.
I am going to get my boots on and walk to the the post office.
