Where will you keep it to protect it from the elements? It certainly looks really healthy. : o )

I though this tree grew wild in the U.K....is it not common tree there?

Shirley.its just in the cold greenhouse for now, maybe til the spring then I shall plant it out. Delonix......I dont think its uncommon, but not very widely grown.......I have only ever seen one....thats what made me purchase it....Meanie.....from the shape, it looks like I could make it a standard, but I shall just see how it grows before I decide...Thanks Amy, its really healthy looking....Im well impressed with Crocus......

I guess the information I read a while back was incorrect. It said A. unedo was widely grown in the U.K. It does grow pretty widely here in CA. It also grows to be a fairly large tree eventually, with a thick trunk.

Delonix....Andy maybe they do in other parts of the country, but I have cetainly never seen it before .

What a grand specimen I will certainly remember Crocus when Im next looking for plants!

Maybe it was referring to southern Cornwall, England. I assume that's probably the mildest part of England?

Looks a good one Milky.....we grow this one it is now just over 5 ft tall and about 3ft wide I have posted several pics of it.......
