no unfortunately there are lots of houses surrounding us but we are lucky that we have these lovely trees and open area plus a little burn running through them, so when sitting in the house or garden the illusion of being in the country is good[ until the school bell from next door on our left rings!!! ] lol

we used to live next to a school ~ lovely when my 2 were little! perhaps not so good when the oldest one was sent to stand against the wall ~ for a week!!!

thanks bornagain. unfortunately it is still much the same ,3 weeks later so getting a bit fed up with it now roll on Spring lol

Wow, that's so incredibly beautiful but I bet you did get fed up with it. I saw photos on the news of minus 18 in Scotland very like your photos! Hope its gone now?

well Lulu after a couple of weeks it went away a bit but not completely and over this weekend we have had about 3ins but it was raining this morning so this moved a little but my grass is still white !! LOL never mind Spring is sure to arrive sometime !!!

It sure is! Thank goodness. I don't usually mind the winter, at east I can mosaic without worrying about how much gardening I need to do but this year............can't wait for some sunshine and warmth.
