Even though the weather has been hot...the days are short and the north side of this building doesn't get much sun...which these plant love. Photo taken on Dec. 13, 2010 in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

Sorry! lol! :>)
These plants like it cooler this time of year. They do best on a north side of a building where it's a cooler and shady.

Sorry to hear you lost your plant! :>(
It is Geranium maderense...which grows wild in all the shady spots in Balboa Park. It should be blooming in February.
