Thank you GM. Funnily enough I stuck the grey glass on the wood years ago and it was always hanging around. I felt determined that one day it may come in useful!! I found the enamel butterfly in a wee shop, a wee bit expensive at £10 (I usually found butterflies for 2 quid at charity shops but they seem to have flown away!) Very glad to say I sold it to a lovely lady who bought it for her Grand daughter. Stating that she wanted to buy her something that wouldn't just be played with and then forgotten. How nice!!
Well the Christmas carols are on, the fire is lit and food shopping done at last! I did forget cider to soak the ham in but never mind, it will have to be apple juice from the garage!! Happy Crimble (where did that saying come from?) X Lulu

Happy Crimble to you too (just think it came from being lazy and shortening Christmas), hope that ham tastes delish maybe add some cloves to it and marmalade! Enjoy.

Ham soaking in water at the moment. Do you think if boiled it today I can roast it on another day? Hope so as I was a bit overenthusiastic with my timings, should have left the ham for next week!!
