Good shot. We get jays too but I don't think I could ever get a close photo of them. They seem to stay way down the garden away from the house.

Thanks all. Yes we are lucky and we see them more often in bad weather but they're so nervous they've usually gone before I've got the camera out of the case. I saw them from the other side of the room, grabbed camera and crawled across to the window while setting up the camera then slowly peered over the window sill! It must have been the food distracting them as I got a whole sequence, I think this is the best one. Never see them in the back garden though.
No chance Shirley, we're keeping them!

Yes they are beautiful Sandra, it's just a shame they won't stay still long enough to be admired! Yes thanks we had a lovely noisy Christmas with all the family and the best bit of all, someone else doing the cooking. :o)) Hope yours was good too.

yes lovely xmas lily, very busy and i did it all lol, only cause baz wasnt to good with bug and joe and johnny werent much better, so we made the most of it all, nice being all together :o)) happy newyear lily x
