They are hardy plants and bulbs which benefit from cold weather to help germination 20+ pots are my allocation from the alpine garden society,the are all sorts.Allium Crocus Aquilegias Cyclamen Primulas Lewisias Anemone Iris , they are a few I can remember
if they germiate some will take minimum 3 years to flower but thats half the fun,there are also some more seed due from a private collection to the Himalaya's. They may be interesting and who knows may be a new species.That would make Davids ears prick up

Hi Brian, what a busy bee you are! Im just off to plant some iris rhizomes in pots that arrived during the big freeze.
Happy New Year my friend to you and Pauline and Jamie (hope he didnt overindulge on turkey!). I wish you all that you could wish yourself..including some exciting new plants this year.
