Thanks Michaella :) I was excited to get these shots! I used the tripod and the super telephoto lens with the cable remote (and I held my breath, lol;). Any movement would have caused it to be less focused.

oh yeah....and a verrrrrrrry slow shutter speed ;)

Beautiful. You can tell the stillness in those stars! I think the brighter lower one may be a planet. There was one trailing the eclipse that night I think.

:) It probably is a planet Joseph. Anyone know it's name? I was happy to see the stars/ planet when I loaded the pics onto the computer.
