Lucky you, we had full cloud cover, so no moon seen. Won't be here the next time - 400 years!! Great shot.

Well TOG, my pleasure to provide you w a glimpse then :) Does it really only happen every 400 years? I didn't know that... I would have appreciated it more at the time. It was very cloudy here too, lucky to have gotten these...plus, I was being pretty persistant. I was out there for a long time! I even got a few stars in some of the shots. They're so tiny it's hard to see them.

Love this. What a great shot! I didn't get a view this good at all. The rarety of this one I think is the totality of the eclipse. There is a partial lunar eclipse coming in February or March but only partial. Those are more common. Whew, wonderful!
