This plant is called an elephant ear. this is a nice variegated one ,every leaf is different.I gow them in the shady garden with filtered sunshine.They grow very large in the tropics

This one was given to me by my garden helper who has one that is 99% white .This one of mine is now planted out in the shade gardens.

Terrific gift! This variety definitely loves more shade...the white part of the leaves will burn easily in the sun. A plant that's 99% white probably won't live too long, it won't be able to photosynthesize.

I agree , funny thing is he says he only had the plain green ones for 10 years when the veriegated ones started growing.??

Usually, most variegated varieties of plants are abnormalities of green forms. That's nature for you. :>)
