lovely striking orange colours, orchids are my favourite plant group, i used to grow around fifty mixed types but gave them up when my kids came along. great pic.

Surreylad - I have a few different orchids, mostly noids, but a couple of named hybrids. Had success with Habenaria radiatta last year too, so I'm taking the plunge and getting a Habenaria medusa now.

Thank you Rbtkew - I should receive the Habenaria mid March. It was sourced through a customer of mine who collects orchids, and when the offer of deferred delivery was made I figured that it made sense. That way, my ignorance may have less effect upon it!

I love the egret orchid but never had a chance to grow it, good luck with Habenaria Medusa another beautiful orchid i still grow pleiones and bletilla so best of luck with medusa..

yes i have my bletilla in the garden under a pile of mulch, they really are lovely if you have a shaded corner, thanks for the web address i'll give it a try.
