We really do, 140 acres of studfarm and surrounding woods and fields.
I see you live in London. I was lucky to live in Parsons Green since 1974 with my Mum, then later as a carer. My bedroom overlooked gardens from all directions, so was peaceful even for London! There was a huge Mimosa tree where the wild pidgeons would sit.
I also love the Thames and Richmond park.

We live near Bromley so its not far from the centre really, 20 mins on train, also the countryside is within reach, not too far down the road. Do you know Bushy Park? That is near my daughters.

Love the shadows . . . pic makes you want to walk there. We lived in Glos before we moved here, in a tiny hamlet called Rodley, near the Forest of Dean and just up the road from the river (we had a canoe) in a remote cottage surrounded by orchards. I didn't want to leave(!) but it was a great place for when the boys were little.

Sounds idyllic Sheilabub! We have had grey skies since that photo was taken last week and today, at last, blue sky and sunshine!
