This shows lollipopped I. golden king. It's a bit straggley as I left anything with berries in place. I just sawed off lower branches and it's fine although it badly needs shaping, but I don't like it too neat:-)

Thanks for putting this pic on Ba, did you have to crop it to upload or have you managed to get pics on ok now? I like the 'lollipop' style very much, leaving room for more plants below! A friend did a similar thing with a very prickly Holly as her grandchild kept falling into it when playing in the garden!

I think you can do almost anything to holly and it will forgive you, it does look scraggy doesn't it, it's better now:-)

There was a big hole which we had tried to cover over a few years ago, probably fox. When we had the makeover it was unearthed so she was probably making a bid for freedom Bloomer. Anyway, fancy laughing at my Rosie, the most wonderful, beautiful, talented dog in the whole World! :-)
