Cheap New Ebay Plants

Cheap New Ebay Plants

Leucothe rainbow, camellia debbie and nandina domestica. They're a good size and the most expensive was £3.89. I need some evergreens as my garden looks horrible. I've ordered others, I need stopping:-)

Leucothe is another plant we both have now ... I bought one in a plant sale at a country fair ... along with some other plants and got home to find 2 Leucothe in the bag! I reckon the stall holder swapped them when they were left in the 'creche' ! No worries ... they're both planted now. Your plants look very healthy.

Anyone know how hardy nandina is? would it be better in a pot? I've never grown camellia before either. I know they don't like morning sun, may keep this in a pot too lol. I've had leucothe before, but not this particular one. It's just everything's so dull at the moment, so far I've ordered at least 11 new plants including these 3, I've lost count. Last year I ordered loads of different ivies in a moment of madness. will no-one help me? :-))

Your plants look some nice Ba,you got some good bargains there..Your Camellia will be fine in a pot,as long as it has ericaceous compost, and as you say, sheltered from morning sun.Maybe just leave it in its same pot for now, unless it is pot bound, and put it in a decorative outer one.You can always pot it on as it grows..or plant it in the garden later,if it is gets too big..

My daughter put me on Facebook,Shirley, but only go on if I want to be nosey...so not that often! Lol. (Pinochio nose? ) I do like to look at pics, that friends and family have on there, though, but very rarely leave a comment..and I much prefer to look at plants, then buy them..it would take a lot of the pleasure out of it for me,just being able to order them, unless it was from a specialist nursery..I have all the time in the world to do that, but I know some haven't,or are unable to visit a garden centre...

The only plant via mail order in my garden is the Buddleia (yellow one) my son ordered for my birthday, plus the Tulip bulbs he'd ordered previously. He complained about the numerous e-mails the company kept sending him. Well, he does live in a flat with no garden ... lol!
