This little pine seedling i found growing in my veg patch which i thought was odd as there are no pine trees around !! :-) so i have no idea where it came from or which one it is but this is 2 years old now and i couldn't throw it away.

I was so surprised to see it that i didn't have the heart to get rid of it.

i will, although it might be a slow update as this is 2 year old and only 4-6 inches high...

Perhaps changing the soil to its liking might spur it on.

that's a point it's still in the same pot and soil from when i dug it up..

You could always look it up on line to see what kind of soil they like as they do say, any plant does well sitting in the compost it likes.

What a lovely find, maybe it was in with some manure or compost if you add any, most likely though would be a bird has dropped the seed while flying over.
