Thanks all!
No Sticki, no greenhouse, although they are scattered around the house in various stages of development.
I have a Habenaria Medusa reserved and should be with me in 6/7 weeks which I'm getting excited about.

not a single one of my orchids is flowering at the moment...very disappointing as they usually flower at this time of year. I think it is because they have been repotted this year and they are sulking :(

Yes stickitoffe that is medusa, she is the protecter of Capricornus. or Capricorns.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be helping to plant, or attache to pillars, hundreds of Phalaenopsis hybrids as part of Kew gardens Tropical Extravaganzer. I will probably be sick to death of the sight of them by the time it's finished!

Meanie:
Wow! Beautiful orchid!
These orchids are very common and easy to grow here. Have the Phalaenopsis orchids been easy for you to grow?
25 Jan, 2011
Rbt - nice problem!!
Delonix - they're easy once you've worked out a "cycle" to suit the conditions of the house if that makes sense.

Meanie:
Yes, it makes perfect sense. Orchids are very touchy about bad air-circulation.
