This smells great! The pot it's in is one of two I found that someone put out with their garbage (that I scavanged!). This one has no bottom, but figured it could stand in my herb garden and I would plant my chocolate mint in it.

You're a scavenger like me. Only last week I took two perfect earthenware pots from a skip when I was on my morning walk with Blodyn ( my cat ). Isn't it amazing what people throw away !

I think my family are slowly coming to terms with my 'finds'.
While we were moving house recently I had to stop my van because someone was throwing out a perfectly good shepherd's hook! It got loaded into the back on top of the boxes and is now in my garden holding a hanging basket.

Lol! I do the same Gillian! My girls used to be so embarrassed when I stopped to grab someone's "rubbish" but as they have been the recipients of a lot of converted treasures, they finally mellowed ...somewhat!

Gillian, you are resourceful, enterprising and refreshing...You like refreshing stuff that you've nabbed !!!
One person's ''stuff that you've nabbed'' is another person's 'fault' - ''that they didn't see the potential in it themselves''.
Recycling at it's best.
