Looks like a Cryptomeria japonica 'Elegans' or something very similar...you been buying plants with no labels Susan lol xx

No, I admit, I lost them! sorry! The only label I had was cryptomeria japonica globosa nana and that's not this one is it....quite different. Thanks BS.

BS...conifers must be hard to id. When you go on google and put the names in you get all different ones claiming to be the same plant! I shall have to invest in a good conifer id book! Any suggestions?

No, it's not th Crypto japonica 'Nana'....looking at it again, could be a Juniper, one of the communis varieties....if it's a bit prickly to touch, then it's definitely a Juniper

Ok Karen, still gonna stick with one of the dwarf Juniperus communis varieties, but can't be sure which one from this photo, needs to grow a bit and get some shape, then we might be able to pin it down correctly lol x
