If you go to your local library they will tell you what is available in your area and if they have an active U3A group as these normally have a gardening group along with lots of other hobbies and interests
My dad has just joined the U3A and is doing photography.
When I first mentioned it he said I dont want to study for a degree at my age, but I pointed out it didnt need to involve exams lol just meeting people learning something new, and going on trips with your new friends
He is delighted at 85 young, he though they wouldnt let him go but they have all ages over 50 I think (not sure how young you have to be actually) but some are very young at the meetings i give talks too.
Get youself Rachelsmum off to the library lol
Hope you manage to find something in your area.

Thanks Vicky - I dont think the Cardiff U3A has a gardening club, but I will certainly check. They didnt a few years ago, which was one reason why I didnt join. I know they are very popular in many U3As.
