It is a pretty one Paul. There is an article on them in next months' English Garden magazine...I've just been reading it...and there are some other lovely ones in there too.

Thanks will have a look - we have a very small acer - only about 8 inches tall - love the colours of this - we have a Cornus alba like this colour

Yes, it is like a Cornus. I also have a tiny acer...pheonix..very pink, but its been in the greenhouse over winter as it seems to be struggling with the cold.

yes be glad when this winter has gone - hope it does okay for you - I moved ours so many times - it is tiny and it has just about 3 roots on - how it is budding I have no idea - put a load of rotting compost around the root ball - maybe it liked it :D
