aye janette, its 5 mins away from my house, it goes for miles and miles. i didnt realise i had been walking for 2 hrs when i went there today lol, it certainly gave me and the dogs an appetite lol

Always wanted 2 take a trip on a Barge Boat along 1 of these Canals they look so peaceful :D

theres a hotel near here jacque that hires out barges,,,, you can even just stay in one for the night moored outside the hoel, and they will bring you out brekkie in the morning.

O now thats what i like Irish ROOM SERVICE ;)

If you have the time, I think walking is a fab thing to do. I have been without my car now for almost 2 yrs and walk to work, well, to everywhere. I have met some lovely people, witnessed some beautifully kept gardens (and some not~ it's nice to have contrast!) I have discovered places I didn't know existed and I have shaken off my flabby behind!

I am the forest Gump of walking!

afraid i need my car for work crystaltips , im a driving instructor lol... but i do love going for walks, and its true you miss so much when you drive, great to just go walkabout , amazing what you see
