Lol! looks like a set of bongos!

That's exactly how I saw them, Tetrarch!

They look like the ones we saw in Malta ... you wouldn't want to stumble into them!

They were pretty spiney Shirley..and a lot of them overhanging walls too!

I see this cactus grows wild there, like it does here in San Diego...virtually, every canyon here is covered with this cactus.

The hills over the beach here are plenty of them.

Here these are very common on steep cliffs on the sides of the canyons. They can cover many acres.
