my rhubarb is just starting to show, not something I eat but love the plant & the family enjoy it with custard.

Ooh. Rhubarb. I love it and have great memories of being a child and my grandmother giving us sticks of the stuff raw and a little bowl of sugar to dip it in. Just wish I had room enough to grow some. Hmm. Methinks I may have to try the idea of growing some in a pot.

ah yes i used to have that digginfit ~ my mum gave us egg cups with sugar in and we pulled the sticks of rhubarb ~ but we knew not to eat the white bit at the end.
