Hi Karensusan, Its a Nuthatch, i have at least one more picture somewhere.

Ah! I've never seen one of these. Tell me Bob, do you live near to a woodland?

Karensusan, No i live just 300 yds from the sea, but some of these pictures were taken, either, in our Caravan in N Devon or at Watersmeet, Dartmoor, Devon. This Bird seems to be doing very well and being seen in gardens more and more.

Ah yes, I looked it up on RSPB and see it only resides in southern england and wales. It does say that there are occasionsal sightings in Scotland though....lucky you living so close to the sea! :) Thanks bob.....I love your anniversary photo on your blog!
