Helleborus niger

I love the pure white of niger. I had a big beaming smile on my face today sheila...I discovered that my 'park' crocuses are out....loads of them in a garden at my park...all purple and shining out above the dead leaves under trees...wonderful...spring is definitely here!

Great, Karen, sounds wonderful. (Until I took this photo I'd never realised that this flower has a tiny brushstroke of purple in the centre!).

Yes, it's gorgeous isn't it..it just makes the flower so special that tiny bit of purple!

niger did'nt flower too well for me last year, finger's crossed it has built up enough to make good flowers soon. Yours is a superb white. Beautiful blooms.
