No its a root,and the plant is Bisexual so produces viable seed with out the need for a second plant (not a lot of people know that )seriously there are lots of plant that way inclined.

didnt know that! i shall have a look out for these.

Sticki if you like them have a look at the Japanese ones on< Edrom nursery> its on line, they are something else not suggesting you buy them you will see why,they have a few similar to mine which are the basic ones.

Lovely colour & photo. I shall have to look for these when I go to the South West show. Or there may be some at the NCCPG Totnes 27th. Feb.

The flowers are quite small Pam possibly look larger in the pictures.
Long Acre Plants has some not sure if he attends.
