My hubby Paul has a pint of sparkling water by his bed at night Cmsue. Basil has found out he can get his head in for a drink. Changed the glass now to a smaller one. Paul didn't fancy cat spit in his drinking water!. LOL

My sister-in-law's cat, a Maine Coon breed, used to dip her paw in the mug of Ovaltine by the bedside, then lick the paw for about 5 minutes! Yeuk !

that's a cat for you, always wanting whatever you have...

That is funny :o)) I wonder she doesn't get her head stuck in there lol
After my mother came to stay here she used to have a glass of water by her bed every night, but I had to cover it for her because Blodyn would take a few sips lol

Basil loves plastic carrier bags too! he is always putting his head through the handle and walking about with it. He loves to be vacuumed as well, must see if I can dig out a Photo.
