Oh, I so love this, always wanted to grow this. Love Hepaticas too. I really need to have an alpine garden somehow....mmmmmm....I have an idea! This is just beautiful. Lovely foliage and beautiful flowers.

I'm not very good at keeping alpines, it's too wet in Cornwall.

Pam they dont come any more alpine than soldanellas

Wet in Cornwall? I thought the sun always shone! You need a frame or alpine house methinks. The soldanella looks lovely. Its too dry here in Bucks for them. The weather is never right for us is it?

I'd love an alpine house, I do cover troughs with individual frames my o.h. made for them.
