I have this one too and its self seeded everywhere!! Also have the pale pink one which is very pretty.

Thanks Lulu, I should've put it's full name which is 'Red Knight'. This one is about 3ft including the flowers. I have another dark one, but, (no label I've checked) it's a lot shorter. Looks like the pink one is popular Have you seen the variegated one called Thunder & Lightening, it's nice but, it might take a bit of getting used to. I still prefer the plain ones. I had a look to see if it was available mail order but so far nothing! Still on variegation... Its the same with Astrantia, I really like them but, I'm still not sure if I'd like 'Sunningdale Variegated', I'll try it one of these days.

Don't think I have seen the variagated one. I need to offset some of my seedlings though or else I will spend the whole summer deadheading them, they also grow so big some of them, my pink one is HUGE!

If you just google it's name it will show you a photo, see what you think! I've never seen the pink one but it sounds lovely.

Ooo I've just googled the Knautia Thunder and Lightening its lovely, definitely one for the wish list:-) no I'm not so sure about the astrantia either.
