Do like this, we never do very well, I have lost count of the pots of Aubretia we have bought and then lost........it must be the soil?

Dotty I used to have lots in the old cottage as we had stone walls and a large rockery there. It's only the last three years I've tried them here as the soil is heavy clay and the back garden is quite shady so have been very surprised to see how well they have done. Some of the front garden ones even self seeded last year.

I bought this plant as my grandmother was called Ida, its a lovely little plant.
