My little boy was on a tear today, attacking all of the fake mice and other "cat toys" that we have and just ran out of steam about the time that the sun started setting tonight.
I snapped this photo and it is now my desktop background. Such a funny boy!

He is SO spoiled.. :-)
We adopted him from an animal shelter that was about 50 miles from where we live. One week after we took him home, the animal shelter suffered a tragic fire that wiped out 50% of their dog population and almost 80% of the cat population because most of the cats were in the main building. It was so sad because I had held, petted, rubbed, and got to know almost every cat at the shelter before I picked out little "Smokey Boy" to take home. :-((((
He will always be my little "miracle boy"...

What a tragedy for those animals ... Smokey Boy should be re-named 'Lucky Boy' ! Is your piano-playing cat still keeping in tune? lol! : o ))
