Really must have a go at hybridising this year, this is stunning.
I bought some seeds a couple of years ago on the lily auction, they all germinated brilliantly in vermiculite in the fridge, but made the mistake of sowing them autumn time, pricked them out in pots in the greenhouse, then we had the coldest winter in years and lost the lot except for two, oh well know next time to wait till spring to give them a chance to get going, did find a couple of self sown ones last year, never had that before, potted them up to see what they turn into:-)
