Outer circle of opened corridors, used as a hospital during plagues or as a camp for pilgrims.

Is it still in use? Was it so decorative when it was a plague hospital?

I do not know, I did not live in that time, lol. However, guide said, that some paintings were preserved, so it might be reconstructed, but original style was left. There are sequences of corridors, where walls are white, without any decoration, so I guess there paintings did not preserve. As far as I know.

By the way, it was not a plague hospital, it was misunderstanding. It was originally monastery, later church for pilgrims, like in Palestine. Place, which had it protection against other world (fence), church, "hotel" and hospital for pilgrims.
