Hi Katarina, apart from the statue, it could be a pub here:-)

I like the statue very much-it is ceramic and original in fact. If you get it closer, it is a fattier woman sipping lemonade. In the small town where is this pub there are many people working in ceramic centre, where they produce artistic (folk art) pieces for gardens, parks or for private persons. Some really very nice.

Hi, Judy Wolf.

It would be interesting to see some of those local art works Katarina. I'm afraid if this statue was in a pub here, some inebriated 'wit' would have enhanced its female attributes with art work of his own :-(

So, let make a plan to visit Zelena hora (in translation The Green Mountain) in summer. That statue is there for years. No, people here do not do things like teenagers. Behind me is a meeting of "sokoli" ("falcons"). That was organization of young people half decade ago, who did sports, travelling, educational activities, crafts and so on. They are fine. Old world, which almost passed.

Bornagain, you have very nice flowers. Is the air wet, where you live?

Thank you Katarina, unfortunately we do have quite a bit of rain lol, but being in the middle of England, we probably get a little of everything:-)

Hi Katarina! I am really enjoying your pics. It is really blowing here today, I can't get out in my garden :(( so I looked up your pics for a treat!

Thank you, Karensusan. I can imagine how it looks like over there. When I was seventeen, I remember, that there was very stormy summer that year and all that summer I had spent wrapped in a blanket, eating cherries, sitting at the window with a view to the river and reading Wuthering Heights from Emily Bronte. Again and again. It was my favourite book at the beginning of adulthood. So far, rainy British countryside reminds me of my youth.

Wrapped in a blanket eating cherries and reading a good book sounds good to me! :))
