Hi Olive....we had a few nights at -16...im surprised the heucheras survived...I just tucked them together against the house wall...Our GC doesnt have many heucheras....perhaps 'palace purple', thats about it!!

Mine were in tubs at the back door, but it faces East so suppose that is why it got them, chilly chilly winds from the east. Our GC are a bit like that have to get them when I see them, I was so so lucky finding some more last week, think I must have beaten everyone to the buying of them.

The Heucheras look good Motti, most of mine died off during the cold spell. Well done on keeping yours. Don't think anything could have saved mine with the temperature dropping down to minus 18 a couple of nights. Ah well the g.c. are doing a roaring trade around us.
