Tied up Sluggypup! :0(

Looks happy enough there Lulu, and am sure she gets plenty of exercise anyway.

She started to whine so I felt sorry for her (that was a brief happy moment!) I made her sit and stay (well sort of) beside me as I was gardening. It's so awful when they go off, her Mum went off twice, both times for over 24 hours and she crossed an A road. Pru has calmed down now but will have to watch Slugs for a few more years.

Aww, poor Slugs, but it has to be done as I know when one of my cats escaped. That panicky feeling when they run off is overwhelming.

When I was about 12yrs old I had a boxer called Lady who never usually left my side, but while out walking one day she disappeared,and after calling her, for which felt like an eternity ,I ran home sobbing running into the house (all very dramatic of course !) wailing "I want my Lady"..only to find she had got home before me ! My mum found her on the doorstep in a terrible state, panting and exhausted..so we were reunited and all was well.
So I totally understand how you must have felt Lulu and Valadel .

Sluggy was panting too when I returned to the cottage! Didn't know wether to be happy or cross!

That's such a difficult one, because my first instinct is to tell them off, but know this doesn't really work..so have to grit my teeth and say ..what a good girl/boy for coming back...not easy ! Am sure Sluggy will settle eventually .

That'pretty good going Hywel, as I'm iin Yorkshire this weekend! Am wondering if Harlow Carr is worth a visit!!?
