Male Bullfinch

How lovely , this is the first year we haven't had any unless it's early is it ?

I don't know if it's early Amy. I've never had one before. The male has been around for a couple of weeks now though. But today was the first time I saw the female. A breeding pair perhaps. I hope so.

I hope so for you Digginfit , I usually have a few but none so far they are lovely , we have a flock of Long tailed Tits that rush in ,feed , and then rush off again in a hurry , they usually nest over the ditch next door in a prickly Berberis bush ...........
