Yes it is a dogwood. It grows at an amazing rate- I'm forever cutting it back.

That is encouraging... I just cut mine back and it seems to be doing fine..think I might try rooting cuttings..is it too late do you think?
I want some winter colour in my front garden.

Should root easily as long as its kept damp.may be be best kept in the shade till its rooted. Best of luck!

hallooo this looks familliar...osier dogwood?thought I was looking at one of my own pictures...lol. I have some of this is my back garden present from the birds I think or perhaps a squirrel.
