I had one of these many years ago! it was the solid green leaf with the reddish underside...the common name for it here is "Moses in the Cradle"...Don't see any cradles...wonder if the flowers would be a different colour on the variegated type?

I have seen this common name applied to this plant, Lori, but don't exactly know why? If I see these in flower, will get a pic.

If you see it in flower, David, you will know immediately...the flowers are held in the leaf axils housed in a little pocket that looks like a cradle!..the flowers are the same shape (triangular shape, three petals) as tradescantia.
