They were so much fun Meanie....
You plant them with the wing out of the dirt and in a few days these huge leaves emerge.

Alexandramou:

It's looking good. Be care not to over water. They can rot very easily.

Thanks Stripes, this is an outdoor plant. It grows to be very large. I will put them out on my balcony for the summer then bring them back in for the winter.

Thanks Delonix,
I over watered one of the seeds and that went bye bye...six germinated, one down, four more to go. There is one type that just won't do anything!!! I'm not giving up on them yet (it's a purple colored flower).

Yes, Plumerias are very sensitive to over watering. They are usually allowed to dry out completely before needing water again. Some of the large trees in the ground here don't receive any water at all in Summer...and they grow and flower very well.

Right, thanks for the tips. I will keep them in pots until they are big enough to plant in the garden (in a few years). They grow in Cyprus so hopefully they will do well here.

Alexandramou:

You're welcome. I think, it'll most likely be more than a few years before you can plant the seedling Plumeria trees out...as seedling trees are very tender to cold. I've seen some of the temps Corfu gets in Jan. and Feb., these temps may kill even large trees, unfortunately. :>(

Delonix,
I will keep this plant indoors while small then maybe put it in the greenhouse....oh hubby is not going to like that idea.
