Hi Maureen, these are the Rheums - grew these from seed too. Think I've lost most of my tiny gunneras I grew, grrrr, thanks to the Winter.

Dawn think my gunnera dead to, love the Rheums though, are these more hardy than gunnera?

No sign of my gunnera either Dawn :-(, but my rheum are doing really well the biggest I've seen them.

Thanks all. The rheum do seem hardier than gunnera, young plants I grew from seed and set out in the Autumn and they've all survived and doing well. Funny you should say that Kathy, mine rheum are great. When they get bigger they should have an impact, hopefully.
Thanks Dotty, a bit bare at the moment but getting there. My gunneras are fine, well expect one, my big one that Ive had for 10 years. It is alive but alot of the huge crowns are soggy :-(
