Japanese Acer......

great photo, one of my favourites. I bought an Acer today, here I have the label to read up about it, bit of an impulse buy but on my list ... Acer palmatum Sangokaku, want it to grow more as a tree than a shrub :0

Lovely new growth there Milky , I'm amazed that my little one has come through the winter I thought it was dead in the autumn ....

Bonus then Amy, what a relief. I think they are tougher than they look. Mine always pull through the Winter and they are in an open aspect too.

Moved ours last week, took a risk, so far so good, I love Acers.

Its lovely looks like the one I have hope it does well for you.

I love the acers, so versatile. I have bonsai and in larger pots and several in the flowerbeds. Such wonderful colour and different types of leaves too.
