Aren't they Michaella, and they just keep on spreading. I think I only started with three or four!

Your garden's looking lovely Karen! The wee tulips are so cheerful!

They really are Libet, they make me smile. They are quite easy to get a hold of in GC in the autmn and I would recommend them to any gardener!

You have a lot of colour in your border for this time of the year, it really is lovely, I've got more of a summer/autumn garden.

Yes, I have a 'woodland' style really so it is quite bright in the spring. The roses take over in the summer, and the clematis of course! I try to have something all year round Libet. Thank you for your lovely compliment! :))

You're quite welcome! :0)

I also have a lot of hardy geraniums for summer colour Libet, forgot to mention them!

You have colour for all year Karen, don't be modest! Lovely pic of the garden.

Thanks Annie... The Pulmonaria 'Blue Ensign' is really in full bloom now. That's what all the blue is. And of course the lovely hellebores bring early colour and are now at their tallest and most colourful.

So much colour already in your garden karen, you are very lucky! I just have my rhod, camelia and peiris giving me colour at the moment .... not that i have many more plants in the garden .... patiently waiting for my potted tulips to flower.....

Ah, thanks Donna, but not lucky really, it's all down to hard work and a lot of cash invested!

And I count myself blessed on both counts!! ))

It's so nice to get going again and get some colour into the garden and the lawns being cut although our front lawn was full of moss, so out came the moss machine and then the seeding with sharp sand mixed with compost and seed. Our neighbour had the same problem as the front doesn't get much sun in the winter, so we let him use our machine too.

I fear I may have to reseed too Linda.......

Late April and September are the best times to seed Karen.
15 Apr, 2011
Thanks Linda. I have seed, so I just need compost.

Just make sure to keep it watered as we haven't had hardly any rain Karen.
