I`ve just discovered Tiarellas and just love their wispy flowers. Pink Skyrocket is gorgeous. :o)

It is lovely. I love them too. I only have two, of the same var. but they are all so pretty. I think the common name is 'foam flower' and you can see why from this picture can't you!

They are so pretty and I have put one in full sun oops wil have to move it . mst have been on the wine that evening.

great shot, Spritz! I wonder if the "foam flower" would work in my garden? moved to another climate zone and not sure about the hardiness of a tiarella in zone 3 USDA.
BTW...we had "white outs" yesterday!! (that's snow...arghhhh!)

I'll try to look it up for you - one of my books gives hardiness zones. You never know - and it is a lovely plant!

all of the ones have coped with our winter last year but we only got as cold as -26 for a few days but -10 for a week or so. they were also under 3ft of snow for several weeks.

mine is sugar and spice. the label says any position !

but it has been dug up and relocated round the side in the shade ;o)

The RHS book says shade, Sbg. It also says they originated from N. America and are fully hardy. Lori - maybe that's good news for you?

I knew they were native to NA, but we have such diverse conditions on the huge continent that I was unsure. Thanks a mil, Spritz. gave it a bit of a google and the T.cordifolia is hardy to zone 3! yippee!
