No - they did when the winters were mild-ish, but the last two have killed all but two. This was a replacement for a casualty.

We lost so many lavanders, only have a few hardy ones left now and our newly planted lavander hedge.

Yes, the English ones are much hardier, aren't they. I am feeling that I may have to regard a French Lavender as almost an annual. I do love them - I wouldn't want to be without any at all.
