Tell you what Yorkie, these Heucheras were the last thing in flower last year, even after the first snow...and every one of them has flowers or buds growing since March! What a lovely long flowering season plus lovely coloured foliage all winter! Plus at least some of them throw out new "crowns" which when they show new growth and a bit of root can be taken off and planted...so extra plants for nothing!

More or less Helenium, a bit duller in winter, more of a mauve orange (if there is such an expression!). The ones that looked really good thru winter were Berry Smoothie, Sweet Tea, Chocolate Ruffles and Lime Marmalade and this one.
